Privacy

You provide us information about yourself, such as your name and e-mail address, if you register for Membership with the Service used, including by connecting with the Service via a third-party service, or by “following,” “becoming a fan,” etc., on a third party website or network. Your email is NOT shared or sold to anyone else and is used exclusively by ArtistsofTexas.org   When you click submit to register for the newsletter,  it means you have read and accepted the terms of use of this site and are aware of the privacy policy. 

Our site is hosted on Squarespace INC. and their information can be found at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy    Your data is stored through Squarespace’s data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Stripe stores your credit card date. It is encrypted through the payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction detail is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standard Council, which is a join effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. This privacy policy (the Privacy Policy) serves to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of the information we receive when you access and use our website (our “Site”), sign up for our newsletter or access and use such other subscriptions and services that may be provided by us from time to time collectively, the ‘Services”). Squarespace uses analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for our Site. These tools collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including web pages you visit, your browser add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving our Site. We may collect and use this analytics information together with your Personal information and stitch together session data from user visits to build a broader profile of our individual users so that we can serve you better.
